Homozygous clones in the retina appear to have split rhabdomeres.

(Gambis et al., 2011)

Homozygotes/hemizygotes have ectopic vein material in the wing.

Heterozygotes show a significant effect on wing centroid size (using Fisher's method for combining probabilities). Heterozygotes show a direct effect on the shape of the wing.

Heterozygotes have a blistered wing and ectopic vein phenotype.
