Detailed Description

Heterozygotes show a direct effect on the shape of the wing, with a widening of the central region of the wing relative to other landmarks in the wing.

Homozygous embryos exhibit defects in the location and organisation of most clusters, in addition to a loss of neurons in the dorsal cluster. Embryos also exhibit severe pathfinding defects as well as gaps in the CNS.
