      Inhibition of synaptic transmission in Scer\GAL4Mz820 neurons leads to aberrant phototaxis behavior (low phototaxis index) towards UV and green (but not blue) light; navigation towards shorter wavelength of light (but not detection of ambient light) is impaired by silencing these neural circuits.
