In the wing pouch, EcollacZsty-09143 is expressed in a broad band centered on the A/P compartment boundary, and in two stripes parallel to the D/V compartment boundary; as well as in the presumptive notum, the wing hinge primordium, and in adepithelial cells. EcollacZsty-09143 is expressed in the presumptive hinge and notum of the haltere discs; no expression is observed in haltere pouch.
