Insertion lines from this collection were assessed for inclusion in the Gene Disruption Project collection.

A set of mutant stocks derived by insertional mutagenesis using the P-element construct P{PZ}; most lines have a lethal or sterile phenotype. The P{PZ} construct carries a ry[+] visible marker, Ecol\lacZ enhancer trap sequences, and bacterial sequences that allow plasmid rescue.

In the wing pouch, EcollacZ^sty-09143 is expressed in a broad band centered on the A/P compartment boundary, and in two stripes parallel to the D/V compartment boundary; as well as in the presumptive notum, the wing hinge primordium, and in adepithelial cells. EcollacZ^sty-09143 is expressed in the presumptive hinge and notum of the haltere discs; no expression is observed in haltere pouch.
