      Homozygotes die as first instar larvae. Homozygous clones in the eye do not produce extra photoreceptor cells. Src42A15-1/Df(2R)nap9 animals show defects in head involution, tail morphology and tracheal necrosis.

      Does not suppress the lethality of phl1. Enhances the rough eye phenotype of Ras85DV12.sev. 94% of eggs laid by Ras85De2F/Ras85Dix12a females have one fused dorsal appendage. This phenotype is partially suppressed by one copy of Src42A15-1.
