Nucleotide change:

A9248688T

Amino acid change:

D86V | Dsor1-PA; D83V | Dsor1-PB

Reported amino acid change:

D83V

Comment:

Reported as D83V in FBrf73777. Maps to D86V in the CDS encoded by the reference sequence. The difference is due to the use of an upstream splice acceptor in an upstream intron. The annotated version is supported by full length cDNA LD41207 (GB:AY058692). The site of the nucleotide substitution in the mutant was inferred by FlyBase based on the reported amino acid change.

Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

The ability of Dsor1Su34B to suppress the lethality of phl1/Y flies is dominantly suppressed by Egfr40-6, Egfr30-1, rl41-1, sag13L, sag32-3, sagA4-2, Su(SuRaf1)IVA7-2 or Su(SuRaf1)IV4. The ability of Dsor1Su34B to suppress the lethality of phl1/Y flies is not suppressed by sag16-2, Src42A15-1 or Src42A18-2.

Comments

phl1 homozygous lethality and hemizygous male eye defect can be partially rescued by one copy of Dsor1Su34B. Rescue is achieved by up-regulating phl signalling pathways. One copy will allow phl1 homozygous females to produce few eggs with two normal dorsal appendages.
