Expression of dor1-1002.Scer\UAS in border cells, driven by Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6, causes a border cell cluster migration defect in over 50-60% of egg chambers. However, the apical cap of these egg chambers forms and is shed normally.
The increase in miniature excitatory junctional current amplitude and reduction in quantal content which is seen at the neuromuscular junction in dor35 and dor36 larvae is rescued by expression of dor1-1002.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4da.PU. The reduction in synaptic vesicle recycling is at least partially rescued.
Expression of dor1-1002.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4VGlut.PU does not rescue the increase in miniature excitatory junctional current amplitude which is seen at the neuromuscular junction in dor35 and dor36 larvae, while the amplitude of the evoked excitatory junctional current is significantly increased compared to the single mutant larvae. The reduction in synaptic vesicle recycling is at least partially rescued.
