wing | anterior, with Scer\GAL471B
wing vein | ectopic, with Scer\GAL471B, ptc10
Compared to controls unresponsive to a 38[o]C probe (without pre-exposure to UV), early third instar larvae with expression of ptc1130X.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 show significant withdrawal responses (genetic allodynia).
When ptc1130X.Scer\UAS is driven by Scer\GAL471B, ectopic venation and expansion of the anterior region of the wing is seen. The intervein region between wing veins 3 and 4 is reduced.
When ptc1130X.Scer\UAS is driven by Scer\GAL471B the size of the anterior compartment of the wing is increased the posterior region is unaffected. The number of campaniform sensilla is increased, as is the length of the double row bristle region. There is slight disorganisation of the vein 3 region and proximal fusion of veins 3 and 4. The addition of heterozygous ptc10 enhances the wing phenotypes seen in ptc1130X.Scer\UAS, Scer\GAL471B flies alone. There is increased venation in the vein 3 region and a larger row of bristles at the wing margin. When ptc1130X.Scer\UAS is driven by Scer\GAL4en-e16E, much of the wing pattern between veins 1 and 5 is deleted.
Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9, ptc1130X.UAS has abnormal pain response | early third instar larval stage | heat sensitive phenotype, suppressible by enKK107874/Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9
Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9, ptc1130X.UAS has abnormal pain response | early third instar larval stage | heat sensitive phenotype, non-suppressible by TkR99DGD375/Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9
Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9, ptc1130X.UAS has abnormal pain response | early third instar larval stage | heat sensitive phenotype, non-suppressible by dispGD2813/Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9
Co-expression of TkR99DGD375 does not suppress withdrawal responses to a 38[o]C probe (without pre-exposure to UV) seen in early third instar larvae with expression of ptc1130X.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9.
Co-expression of enKK107874 suppresses the withdrawal responses to a 38[o]C probe (without pre-exposure to UV) seen in early third instar larvae with expression of ptc1130X.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9.
Co-expression of dispGD2813 does not significantly suppress the withdrawal responses to a 38[o]C probe (without pre-exposure to UV) seen in early third instar larvae with ptc1130X.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9.
ptc1130X.UAS is rescued by Scer\GAL471B/ptcUAS.cJa
