Detailed Description
Statement

Expression of morgueEP1184 under the control of Scer\GAL4vg.PM or Scer\GAL4ptc.PU does not result in any apparent phenotypes.

morgueEP1184 mutants do not exhibit defects in dendrite pruning or neuronal cell death 18-20 hours after puparium formation.

Apoptosis in the pigment cell lattice is disrupted in morgueEP1184/morgueEP2367 flies, resulting in extra cells in the mature retina. At eclosion, 30% of homozygotes have visible melanotic tumours, compared to 0% of wild-type flies.

morgueEP1184/Df(2L)dp-h25 surviving adults have short, thin bristles and some have leg truncations.

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

The presence of morgueEP1184 does not significantly affect the adult wing phenotype of flies expressing DebclScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc.PU.

The eye cell death phenotype caused by expression of grim::rprrg.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is suppressed by heterozygosity for morgueEP1184.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

The presence of morgueEP1184 does not significantly affect the notched wing phenotype observed in flies expressing Mmus\BaxScer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4vg.PM.
