      FlyBase curator comment: the P{lacW} insertion results in homozygous lethality during the first and second larval instars, but since the insertion is within both the Ant2 and sesB transcription units, it is unclear whether the lethality is due to an effect on Ant2 or sesB (or both).

Presence of Ant2G0247 sesBG0247/+ in Scer\GAL4GMR.PS>Hsap\BCL2L13ΔTM.Scer\UAS flies does not result in significant eye phenotypes.
