Expressing dpy^GD4443 under the control of Scer\GAL4^bs.Term does not have an obvious effect in trachea branching in the trachea terminal cells region; ER exit sites (identified by Sec16 staining) and the cis-Golgi (identified by GM130) do not seem to be affected. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^repo.PU does not affect the secretion of LanA ad LanB1 by glial cells.

Expression of dpy^GD4443 under the control of Scer\GAL4^nub.PU results in a complete retraction of the wing blade. The phenotype is seen with 100% penetrance.

Expression of dpy^GD4443 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Dll.PU results in a complete retraction of the wing blade and the distal segments of the legs and antennae.

Expression of dpy^GD4443 under the control of Scer\GAL4^dpp.PU results in a retraction of the distal tip of the wing, where the intervein between L3 and L4 intersects with the margin. A similar but more severe retraction is seen when dpy^GD4443 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4^salm.PU.

Expression of dpy^GD4443 under the control of Scer\GAL4^brk.PU results in a narrowing of the wing blade consistent with loss of anchorage along the anterior and posterior margins.

Expression of dpy^GD4443 under the control of Scer\GAL4^hh.PU results in a contraction of the posterior part of the wing blade.

Expression of dp^GD4443 under the control of Scer\GAL4^ap-md544 results in a vortex phenotype in the adult thorax (this phenotype has weak penetrance, even when Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa is present to enhance RNAi).
