Expression of MarfScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4ple.PF leads to protection from rotenone toxicity, with mutant flies displaying less PPL1 dopaminergic neuron loss in adult brains after rotenone feeding, in contrast to controls.
