Reference

The expression of Dcp-1^KK106134 under the control of Scer\GAL4^ap-md544 alone leads to curly wings, which indicates growth inhibition. Upon additional Dicer-2 expression (for a more efficient RNAi), the wings also become malformed, wrinkled or unextended.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^C10 leads to a significant decrease in wing size, as compared to controls. Wing discs show an increase in apoptosis (detected by PARP::Venus signal, but not TUNEL assay), as compared to controls.
