Expression of tauHM05101 under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PU, in combination with a Dicer-2 transgene to enhance RNAi efficiency, does not impair pruning of ddaC dendrites by 16 h after puparium formation (APF), compared to controls.

Expression of tauHM05101 under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG does not induce precocious dendrite pruning in class IV dendritic arborizing neurons at the pupal stage.

Flies expressing tauHM05101 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU show a rapid progressive pattern of retinal degeneration, that starts in the proximal part of the retina and becomes progressively worse when the flies are aged for four weeks.
