Expression of ftz-f1JF02738 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU in clones in the eye-antennal disc does not result in any significant defect in eye-antennal disc morphology, photoreceptor differentiation, or adult eye development, as compared to controls.

Expression of ftz-f1JF02738 in the fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4DcG results in significant hyperglycaemia.

Expression of ftz-f1JF02738 in C-I neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4221 results in ddaD neurons that have an increased number of dendritic branches compared to controls.

Expression of ftz-f1JF02738 in C-IV neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 results in a reduction in total dendritic length in ddaC and v'ada neurons. The total number of dendritic branches is also reduced in ddaC neurons.
