Flies expressing ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF have a subtle eye overgrowth phenotype.

Expression of ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU leads to overgrowth of the adult eye, larval eye discs show precocious entry into the S phase of the cell cycle, and enlargement of the sheet of epithelial tissue posterior to the morphogenetic furrow.

Expression of ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF causes an increase in the number of interommatidial cells in eyes dissected 44 hours after puparium formation.

Expression of ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in overgrowth of the adult eye.
