Contains a genomic fragment centred on Rab5 in which part of the Rab5 open reading frame (extending from the ATG to the end of the ATG-containing exon) has been replaced with the GAL4 driver coding region and a loxP cassette containing Disc\RFP3xP3.PC and the kanamycin resistance gene.

      ScerGAL4Rab5.ATG drives expression in the larval brain neurons, as well as in the eye, wing and leg imaginal discs. In the pupal and adult brain, expression is ubiquitous. Expression in the adult mushroom body is stronger than in the pupa.
