Expression of knScer\UAS.cHa.T:Ivir\HA1 does not significantly affect the compartment organisation of Golgi in larval dendrites.
The expression of knScer\UAS.cHa.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4221 results in third instar larval class I abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaD and ddaE neurons exhibiting a significant increase in the number of dendrite branch terminals, as compared to controls.
Expression of knScer\UAS.cHa.T:Ivir\HA1 via Scer\GAL42-21 increases the number of higher order branches in class I neurons. knScer\UAS.cHa.T:Ivir\HA1 mis-expression transforms dendritic trees of class I into those of class IV-like in terms of branching complexity and continuous higher-order branch formation, but not in terms of the field size of the avoidance behaviour.
Expression of Scer\GAL4smid-C161>knScer\UAS.cHa.T:Ivir\HA1 causes class II neurons to acquire exuberant branches. They develop far more complicated dendritic arbors than the control branches in terms of both number and total length. On the other hand, Scer\GAL4smid-C161>knScer\UAS.cHa.T:Ivir\HA1 expression greatly decreases the number of terminal structures that distinguish class III. Short straight "spikes" typically cover long branches of the wild-type class III dendrite. In contrast, branches in the mutants are almost naked with only a small number of longer and curved protrusions.

Co-expression of abScer\UAS.L.cSa reduces the length of 3rd- and higher-order branches compared with expression of Scer\GAL42-21>knScer\UAS.cHa.T:Ivir\HA1 alone.
