The expression of Fer2UAS.Tag:FLAG under the control of either or Scer\GAL4GMR58E02 or Scer\GAL4Fer2.2359 suppresses the progressive decrease in the number of adult PAM neurons observed in foxoΔ94 homozygotes. The expression of Fer2UAS.Tag:FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR58E02 also partially suppresses the decreased lifespan and adult locomotion presented by foxoΔ94 homozygotes.

Expression of Fer2Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4Fer2.2359 partially but significantly rescues the climbing defects seen in Fer2e03248 mutant flies. The PAM and PAL dopaminergic neuron loss is also rescued to quasi wild-type levels.

Expression of Fer2Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4Fer2.2359 fully rescues the climbing defects seen in Fer2MB09480 mutant flies. The PAM dopaminergic loss is also rescued.

Expression of Fer2Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG in PAM neurons under the control of either Scer\GAL4GMR58E02 or Scer\GAL4Ddc.HL9 does not rescue the PAM neuron loss in Fer2e03248 mutant flies.

Expression of Fer2Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG in PAM neurons under the control of either Scer\GAL4GMR58E02 partially rescues the PAM neuron loss in Fer2MB09480 mutant flies. The climbing defects are also partially rescued.
