The expression of Zzzz\poly-GR^PO-100.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^{elav.Switch.PO} during adulthood (induced by RU486 feeding) are short lived.

Expression of Zzzz\poly-GR^{PO-100.Scer\UAS} using Scer\GAL4^GMR.PU causes eye degeneration and increased lethality.

Expression of Zzzz\poly-GR^{PO-100.Scer\UAS} in adult neurons using Scer\GAL4^{elav.Switch.PO} (in combination with RU486 treatment) causes a substantial decrease in survival.
