      Virgin females in which the Ecol\lexAVT003280-expressing neurons have been silenced are unable to mate. Elevated levels of egg laying are seen.

      Silencing Ecol\lexAVT003280-expressing neurons does not suppress the increased receptivity to males seen in mated females when SAG-1 neurons (Hsap\RELAAD.VT50405 and Scer\GAL4DBD.VT007068-expressing) have been activated.
