Expression of yki^{dsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.P\T} under the control of Scer\GAL4^C587 (but not Scer\GAL4^{nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16}) results in tumorous germaria with ectopic germline stem cell/cystoblast-like cells, the females are sterile.

The female sterility due to tumorous germaria induced by Scer\GAL4^C587-driven expression of yki^{dsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.P\T} is rescued by co-expression of either sd^KK108877 or Tgi^HMS00981 : the double knock-down females are fertile and without significant germaria defects. Co-expression of vg^{dsRNA.Scer\UAS.cUa} RNAi also improves the tumorous germaria phenotype while co-expression of ci^{CA.Scer\UAS.cUa} cannot rescue it.
