      Comments

      Expression of PGRP-LBUAS.PA.EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4mex1.PU partially rescues the immune system response in midgut but not in fat body phenotype of PGRP-LBΔ adults infected with Erwinia carotovora carotovora (Ecc) by oral feeding. It fails to rescue the lipid droplets in fat body and the life span phenotype of PGRP-LBΔ adults.

      Expression of PGRP-LBUAS.PA.EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 strongly rescues the lipid droplets in fat body, the ovary wasting, the apoptosis in ovary follicles and the life span phenotype while it fails to rescue the immune system response in fat body and proventriculus phenotype of PGRP-LBΔ adults infected with Ecc by oral feeding.
