Expression of Patronin^UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4⁴⁷⁷ or Scer\GAL4^ppk.PU results in failure to prune all ddaC dendrites by 16 h after puparium formation (APF), unlike controls; in the case of Scer\GAL4⁴⁷⁷ ddaC neurons also have significantly reduced numbers of dendritic termini at the wandering third instar stage, compared to controls and dendrite arbors are simplified at the white prepupal stage, compared to controls.

Expression of Patronin^UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4⁴⁷⁷ in larvae results in a significant increase in plus-end out microtubules in ddaC dendrites, compared to controls.
