Hus1
forms a clamp-like 9-1-1 complex with Rad9 and Rad1 - plays a central role in the DNA-damage-induced checkpoint response - required for S-phase and meiotic checkpoints

AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.
Gene model reviewed during 5.47
Shares 5' UTR with downstream gene.
Low-frequency RNA-Seq exon junction(s) not annotated.

The group(s) of polypeptides indicated below share identical sequence to each other.
Component of the 9-1-1 checkpoint clamp complex consisting of Rad9 isoform A, Rad1 and Hus1-like; the interactions with Rad1 and Rad9 are direct (PubMed:17327271, PubMed:22666434). This complex probably also forms with Rad9 isoform B, however 9-1-1 complex containing Rad9 isoform A localizes to the nuclear periphery (PubMed:22666434).

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
Hus1-like is not required for the G2-M checkpoint in the developing wing disc.
