EndoGI expression is widespread and predominantly nuclear. It is supplied maternally to the embryo and uniformly labels embryonic nuclei. In larvae, it is ubiquitously expressed in many tissues including imaginal discs and testis. By contrast, only a subset of cells within the larval brain and ventral nerve cord express EndoGI. It is dynamically expressed within the salivary glands, being present in the nucleus in early third instar larvae but absent from most nuclei in late third instar larvae. A small number of salivary gland cells show cytoplasmic localization of EndoGI in late third instar larvae.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see GBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
