The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Tom Hartl and Matt Scott, Stanford University.
P{Trh(FRT.stop)QF} and P{Ddc(FRT.stop)QF} were generated by phiC31-mediated recombination, using donor plasmids containing the general structure:
attB-regulatory region-FRT-SV40 transcription termination sequence-alpha tubulin transcription termination sequence-FRT-QF-SV40 termination sequence-LoxP-white-LoxP-attB
with the regulatory region coming from Trh (http://flybase.org/reports/FBgn0035187.html) or Ddc (http://flybase.org/reports/FBgn0000422.html), respectively.
P{Trh(FRT.stop)QF}attP40 and P{Ddc(FRT.stop)QF}attP40 are phiC31 integrase-mediated insertions into P{CaryP}attP40 at 25C6,  2L:5108448  (R5).
P{Trh(FRT.stop)QF}attP2 and P{Ddc(FRT.stop)QF}attP2 are phiC31 integrase-mediated insertions into P{CaryP}attP2 at 68A4,  3L:11063638  (R5).
P{Trh(-FRT)QF}attP40, P{Ddc(-FRT)QF}attP40, P{Trh(-FRT)QF}attP2 and P{Ddc(-FRT)QF}attP2 were derived from the corresponding insertions above by FLP-mediated cassette removal.
