Statement
Reference

byn reporter and otp expression was compared. Both are expressed throughout the embryonic hindgut at stage 14 but only byn is expressed in the small intestine. Both are expressed in the anal pads and rectum, but only otp has a reduced level of expression in the rectum. Both are expressed in the ileum and rectum in larvae and adults but only byn is expressed in the pylorus.
