Description

eve sequences from +7.9kb to +9.2kb (relative to the transcription start site) are fused upstream of eve promoter sequences from -275bp to +11bp followed by the GAL4 driver coding region. Sequence consisting of a 38bp multi-cloning sequence followed by eve DNA from +91 to +99 nucleotides and an ATG codon has been used to replace the GAL4 translation initiation signal with that of eve. eve 3' sequences from +1306bp to +1521bp are present downstream of the GAL4 coding region.
