Expression of ScerGAL4^SIFa.PT is found in a subset of four ScerGAL4^Kurs58 positive pars intercerebralis (PI) neurons. GFP reconstitution across synaptic partners (GRASP) shows a connection between ScerGAL4^SIFa.PT positive PI neurons and ScerGAL4^Clk.4.1M positive DN1p neurons.

ScerGAL4^IFa.PT drives expression in 4 cells in the pars intercerebralis that extend processes throughout most of the brain neuropils, including most glmeruli of the antennal lobe. The cells labelled in the pars intercerebralis by ScerGAL4^IFa.PT also express SIFa.
