mbl^k07103/mbl^E27 escapers have wing blisters, wing venation defects or unexpanded wings.

Lethality occurs during pupal or adult stages. Homozygous embryos exhibit closely associated lateral chordotonal (Lch) neurons, a mild loss of neurons, abnormal neuronal morphology and fasciculation defects.
