Expression of E(spl)^Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4^ey.PB has no effect on either eye or antenna disc development.

Expression of E(spl)^Scer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4^dpp.blk1 results in ectopic furrow formation in the eye disc.

Expression of E(spl)^Scer\UAS.cGa driven by Scer\GAL4^da.G32 or Scer\GAL4^how-24B have a reduced number of Kr positive muscle founder cells and a corresponding defect in the number of differentiated muscle cells. A suppression of peripheral nervous system structures is also seen when driven by Scer\GAL4^da.G32.
