Amino acid replacement: K804R. K804R falls in the ATP-binding site.
Amino acid replacement: K804R.
capitellum & macrochaeta
Flies carrying one or two copies of brmK804R.T:Ivir\HA1 are viable. Flies carrying two copies of brmK804R.T:Ivir\HA1 in a wild-type background frequently show partial transformation of haltere to wing, as shown by an increase in haltere size and the appearance of ectopic bristles on the capitellum. This phenotype is also seen in Df(3L)th102/+ animals carrying two copies of brmK804R.T:Ivir\HA1. brm2/Df(3L)th102 animals carrying two copies of brmK804R.T:Ivir\HA1 do not survive to adulthood.
Female brm deficiency heterozygotes carrying an X-linked copy of brmK804R.T:Ivir\HA1 survive to adulthood, but males of this genotype are not viable.

Hsc70-403550, brmK804R.Tag:HA has viable | male phenotype
Hsc70-454.1, brmK804R.Tag:HA has viable | male phenotype

brmK804R.Tag:HA/brm[+] is a suppressor of eye phenotype of EgfrE3
brmK804R.Tag:HA is a suppressor of eye phenotype of CycEJP
The small rough eye phenotype of EgfrE3/+ is suppressed by expression of the brmK804R.T:Ivir\HA1 genomic construct.
brmK804R.Tag:HA fails to rescue Df(3L)th102/brm2
An engineered dominant-negative mutation.
