Reference

Homozygotes die as embryos or larvae. Homozygous embryos have a faint cuticle. Adult escapers are produced. cora⁸/cora¹⁴ adults have eye defects; part of the anterior equatorial region of the eye is replaced by head cuticle and associated bristles, and in other parts of the eye the ommatidia are irregular in size and shape and bristles are misplaced.
