The expression of DroncC318G.UAS.EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4C10 does not affect the size of the adult wing, femur, tibia or tarsal segment 1.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544 leads to an opaque wing phenotype, indicative of apoptosis, but does not induce curly wings, which would indicate growth inhibition.

Overexpression of NcΔN.C-A.Scer\UAS in the ddaC neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4477 results in a marked suppression of dendritic pruning. At 14 hours after pupal formation, the dendrites are detached from the soma but still largely cover the same 'footprint' as in third instar larvae. The morphology of detached branches varies: some show proximal swellings, whereas others are thinned and beaded along their entire length.

Expression of NcC318G.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF has little effect on the normal pattern of dying cells in the eye imaginal disc. No death during the pupal stage is seen in animals expressing NcC318G.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF and adult flies have normal eyes.
