    stanfrz3 flies show planar cell polarity defects in the eyes, wings and thorax.

    Many stanfrz3 ommatidia mis-rotate; the variance (s.d.) in degree of rotation is greater than in wild type in adult eyes.

    Homozygotes show defects in ommatidial polarity.

    Homozygotes exhibit a range of polarity defects in the eye. 13.9% of ommatidia show polarity defects.

    One copy of stanfrz3 strongly enhances the axonal projection defects seen in the ╬▒lobes of DAAMEx1 mutant mushroom bodies. The ╬▓ lobe defects are not significantly enhanced.
