Overexpression of CG1139GS10666, under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, increases both ommatidial and overall eye size.

When CG1139GS10666 and CG1139GS7120 are coexpressed under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF the resulting eyes bulge more from the head capsule and the ommatidial array is mildly disorganised.

In flies expressing CG1139GS10666 throughout the developing adult wing, driven by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, overall wing size is increased and excess growth on the dorsal surface causes the wing to turn down.

Although expression of CG1139GS10666, under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 promotes growth in the wing, coexpression with CG1139GS7120 significantly reduces growth. In addition , co-expression of CG1139GS10666 with CG1139Scer\UAS.cGb, also driven by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, enhances the growth inhibitory effect of the CG1139Scer\UAS.cGb transgene.

CG1139GS10666 significantly enhances the reduced wing phenotype produced by overexpressing TorWT.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096.

The pathKG06640 reduced weight and small wing phenotypes are significantly rescued by expression of CG1139GS10666 under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS.

Co-expression of foxoGS9928 with CG1139GS10666, driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, enhances the foxoGS9928 reduced eye phenotype, an effect that is completely suppressed by Akt1Scer\UAS.cSa co-expression.
