Expression of gloGD12082 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU has no obvious effect on adult eye morphology, whereas expression driven by Scer\GAL4elav.PU results in significant decrease in adult climbing ability.

Adults expressing gloGD12082 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) show significantly reduced avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in early pupal lethality.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in loss of bristles on the notum in 30-40% of the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 expression domain.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in the absence of 50-60% of the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237-expressing area of the notum.

Expression of gloGD12082 under the control of Scer\GAL4477 results in a reduction in the density of terminal dendritic branches of class IV da neurons in third instar larvae.

The climbing ability deficit observed both in the TBPH hypomorphic flies (TBPHΔ23/+;Scer\GAL4elav.PU>TBPHdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cUa, UAS-Dicer2) and flies expressing gloGD12082 (also with UAS-Dicer2 and under Scer\GAL4elav.PU control) is much enhanced when the two mutants are combined.

The eye degeneration phenotype (appearance of melanotic spots, fusion of ommatidia) characteristic for adult flies expressing TBPHScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU is strongly suppressed by co-expression of gloGD12082.
