Expression of Scer\GAL4c42>WnkKK102654 decreases K[+] flux by about 30% in Malpighian tubules.

Scer\GAL4en.PU-mediated expression of WnkKK102654 results in wing notches and loss of margin bristles. The posterior wing compartment is also reduced in size with high penetrance, which is more pronounced when Scer\GAL4nub.PU is used to drive expression.
