      ScerGAL4GMR41A01RA drives expression in subcuticular patches of the proboscis, a few muscles of the head, adult Malphigian tubules and scattered subcuticial cells under sternites in the abdomen. Expression overlaps with that driven by EcollexAfru.P1 in adult doublesex pC3 (male) neurons.

      Inhibition (using Ctet\TeTxLCFRT.stop.UAS) of Scer\GAL4GMR41A01 neurons expressing Scer\FLP1L.8xlexAop under the control of Ecol\lexAGMR24B02 in males results in a slight reduction in sine song during courtship than controls and a significant increase in pulse carrier frequency, with similar inter-pulse interval, pulse and sine amplitude and sine carrier frequency to controls.
