      Inhibition (using Ctet\TeTxLCTNT.UAS) of Scer\GAL4GMR58F10 cells significantly reduces the preference of larvae for larval-treated substrate, compared to controls; attraction to (Z)-5-tetradecanoic acid and (Z)-7-tetradecanoic acid, but not other secreted larval fatty acids, is significantly reduced, compared to controls.
