Detailed Description

ash1W790term is a dominant enhancer of eye pigment variegation observed in the E1 (combination of gypsy{}ci-E1, P{lacW}Dplac) and Pci (P{lacW}Dplac) backgrounds; no eye pigmentation silencing is observed in a P{lacW}3-76a background.

ash1W790term is not a significant dominant suppressor of eye pigment variegation observed in the In(1)w[m4] background.

The following transheterozygotes are lethal: ash1W790term/Df(3L)Exel9007, ash1W790term/ash1Q893term, ash1W790term/ash1N303mut, ash1W790term/ash1H1873W and ash1W790term/ash1W770mut.
