Statement
Reference

kirre reporter expression is observed primarily in interommatidial cells along with rst in a pattern complementary to sns and hbs.

In embryo, expressed in a subset of cells of the somatic and visceral mesoderm, and some mesodermal glia, but not in the cardiac mesoderm. At embryonic stage 16, detected in 30 differentiated muscle fibers.
