Description

UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of an active form of Akt1 (protein is tagged with a myristoylation signal). FlyBase curator comment: a 'UAS-myr-Akt1' stock submitted to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by S. Birnbaum was subsequently found to contain an N-terminal deletion in the coding sequence, removing 75% of the PH domain (stock 80935, see FBrf0241238 , personal communication to FlyBase). It is not known whether the 'myrAkt' fly line described in FBrf0211161 corresponds to this deleted construct or whether it contains Akt1 full-length coding sequence.
