In the adult female ScerGAL4VT050405 drives expression in a total of 14 cell clusters, eight of these can be found in the adult brain, two in the anterior region of the gnathal ganglion and four clusters in the posterior abdominal ganglion. Two of these neurons in the posterior abdominal ganglion are central targets of SPR expressing sensory neurons in the female reproductive tract. These arborize extensively in the abdominal ganglion and project along the dorsal midline of the gnathal ganglion to the periesophageal region and the posterior superior medial protocerebrum. In adult males labeling is detected in a smaller number of cells in the posterior abdominal ganglion and missing in the posterior superior medial protocerebrum.
