Description

The GAL4::p65 driver is expressed under the control of gce regulatory sequences. Consists of the genomic BAC clone CH321-09E09 in which the first exon of gce has been replaced with a GAL4::p65 driver followed by expression termination sequences.

ScerGAL4p65.gce.CH321-09E09 expression overlaps considerably with that of EcollexAp65.gce.CH321-09E09. In the adult, intense expression is seen in layers 4 and 6 of the fan-shaped body, and weak expression in layer 5. Expression is absent from T5 cells/lobula layer 1 and Medulla layer M10.
