Heterozygous adults have sex comb teeth on the second and third legs. The penetrance of this phenotype is 97% and the expressivity is 12%.

Pairing sensitive repression is alleviated in iab-7 PRE lines that carry Pcl10.

The penetrance of the second and third leg to first leg transformation in Pcl10 heterozygotes carrying two brm+ alleles is 97%, but only 5% in flies heterozygous for Pcl10 and brm2.

Haplo-abnormal phenotype is suppressed by a duplication carrying Pc.

The average number of sex comb teeth per first leg Scr2/+ males is not affected if they are also carrying Pcl10.

Mutant heterozygotes show a moderate suppression of the eye phenotype see in P{UAS-lacZ.Abd-B.5F24} leading to darker eyes.

The addition of heterozygous Pcl10 can suppress the Pairing sensitive silencing effect seen in wMcp.10, wMcp.13, wMcp.scs'.12:15, and wMcp.scs'.14. The addition of heterozygous Pcl10 has no effect on the Pairing sensitive silencing effect seen in wMcp.11, wMcp.scs'.11 and wMcp.scs'.21 nor does it have any effect on the eye colour of wMcp.scs'.21/ywe.Mcp.1 (P{Mcp-w#21}124/+, P{Mcp-wy#1}183/+) double heterozygous insertions. Though in the case of wMcp.scs'.11, a darker eye colour can be seen at 18oC. The addition of heterozygous Pcl10 suppresses the Pairing sensitive silencing effect seen in wMcp.scs'.14/ wMcp.13 (P{Mcp-w#14}AP-2stummelbein/+, P{Mcp-w#13}116/+) and the eye colour of wMcp.y.scs'.1/ywe.Mcp.2 (P{Mcp-yw#1}103/+, P{Mcp-wy#2}50/+) double heterozygous insertions.

The formation of extra sex combs on the second and third legs in Pc4/+ flies is dominantly enhanced by Pcl10.

The penetrance and expressivity of the Pcl10/+ transformation phenotype is dominantly suppressed by mor1 or mor2.

Enhances the transformation of A6 to A7 seen in Abd-BFab7-P18.1 heterozygotes, but does not alter the phenotype of Abd-BFab7-12 heterozygotes.
