Scr14/Scr13A flies have a reduced number of rows of pseudotrachea on the proboscis compared to controls.

The number of nuclei in the salivary glands of Scr14/Df(3R)WIN3 larvae is not significantly different from normal.

Heterozygous males have a reduction in the number of sex comb bristles on the prothoracic leg compared to wild-type males.

Prothoracic to mesothoracic, pronotal to mesonotal and labial to maxillary transformations. Polyphasic semi-lethality.
