sqh2/+ does not suppress the wing phenotype of animals expressing rokcat.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E.
Strong allele. Phenotype is stronger than that of sqh1. Phenotype is no stronger in hemizygotes as compared to homozygotes. Homozygotes die 4-8 days after hatching. When maternal contribution is reduced, sqh2 becomes embryonic lethal, and mutants display phenotypes similar to those of Mhc null mutants.
